I'm watching. You're watching. Let's talk.

Well hello Sundance Channel Canada: Debuts March 1

In television on 03/01/2010 at 12:26 am

It’s not exactly as great as Robert Redford dropping by to watch great TV, but it’ll do. The TV channel devoted to the art of film and filmmaking and which takes its name from Redford’s indie fest is finally coming to Canadian TV.

Starting Monday, March 1, Drive In Classics (channel 139 on Videotron, btw) will become Sundance Channel Canada.

Click on this link to get the programming.Or become a fan on Facebook or follow them on Twitter. Sundance Channel Canada knows its social media and is using both spots to share very good straightforward programming info. Such as: the great Canadian series Slings and Arrows starts airing on Monday. And the film biography series Iconoclasts will air the Redford/Paul Newman episode.

Call your cable provider and add it (if you, like me, have Videotron’s a la carte service, you can just click on the “A” on your remote and select 139 in favour of something you know you’ll never watch anyway).
