I'm watching. You're watching. Let's talk.

Talk-show tango May 24-28: Sex and the City 2, Prince of Persia and Janelle Monae

In television on 05/24/2010 at 6:39 am

Welcome back chickens. Yes, if this is Monday, it’s still the weekend, but welcome back nonetheless. I still have a bit of a Lost hangover and no, I don’t understand what it all means either. But one thing I do know: You should meet Janelle Monae. She’s a Sean Combs discovery, which is of little influence chez moi, but she made my jaw drop when I saw her perform on Letterman last week and I’m not even talking about that hair, those shoes. Here’s Monae performing Tightrope last week on the Late Show. She’s making more appearances this week, somewhere in between the double deluges of promotion by Sex and the City 2 and Prince of Persia.
