Premise
Girl who’s been living on the run from her strange appetites and what havoc they wreak finally discovers who and what she is: a “fae”, specifically a succubus fae. But now that she knows what species she is, which of the two tribes will she join? And what will she do with this human girl she can’t ditch? And who’s that tall blond cop anyway?

Primary cast and crew

Anna Silk (Being Erica, Billable Hours) is Bo, who’s just discovering that she’s not a freak, but rather a fae, a succubus fae. Like she couldn’t have already figured that out, what with her soul-eating hunger and her strict dress rule of leather and other black clingy bits.

Kris Holden-Ried (Waking Up Wally: The Wayne Gretzky Story, Emotional Arithmetic) is Dyson, blond hunky cop who is also fae, but on the down low.

Ksenia Solo (Cold Case, The Cleaner, Moonlight) is a petty thief named Kenzi and now Robin to Bo’s Batman.

But what do I know anyway? After having seen the pilot I predict…
It’s a bit clunky in the storytelling dept., but the first hour had me keen to see more, mostly because of the characters and acting. Holden-Ried has a nice charm and Silk always manages to play below the over-the-top line that many other actors would shoot for in playing an otherworldly ass-kicker. Beyond the setup of the first pilot, Bo will learn more about herself (and seek more answers about her unknown birth family), will balance doing good with feeding her hunger and will slowly fall into a mainstream-TV flirtation with her overseer Dyson. Get past the clunkiness. Could be a bit of entertainment here.

Official website

There are character bios, a trailer and an interactive motion comic. Meh.
