I'm watching. You're watching. Let's talk.

Talk-show tango Sept. 13-17: Welcome back Bill Maher, Oprah, Ben Affleck, Maura Tierney

In television on 09/13/2010 at 9:07 am

Well, only Letterman and Strombo are in repeats! In the bounty of fresh guests, there are many causes for celebration. A couple: Bill Maher is back this Friday (Oliver Stone guests) and Maher is promoting the show’s return Monday on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Not many things could make me watch Leno, but this might. Also, Maura Tierney and her cute post-cancer-treatment pixie cut will be on the couch on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday as the ex-Rescue Me/ER starlet steps out to promote her new legal show with Rob Morrow, The Whole Truth. And last but not least, there is The Town, the new heist thriller starring and being amply promoted this week by Ben Affleck and Mad Men star Jon Hamm.
