Talk-show tango Nov. 1-5: Sneak peek at Conan

In animated on 11/01/2010 at 6:37 am

Updated: Only one week to go before the Nov. 8 debut of Conan (11 p.m. ET on Comedy Network, 1 a.m. on CTV), the new Conan O’Brien show, but Monday (Nov. 1) night, starting at 11 p.m. ET, O’Brien hosted Show Zero, a one-night, online-only preview of Conan. I thought it was going to be a lot longer, but it was a brisk five minutes (that’s it just below). Brisk but reassuring for Conan O’Brien fans: just as dead pan absurdist as ever. Welcome back! Guests were … well for pity sake, just watch it. Are you that busy that you can’t lend O’Brien five minutes?

Next week, guests will include /Seth Rogan, Jack White, Soundgarden and 30 Rock’s Jack McBrayer. And now to our regular listings:

* Note: After initially announcing Conan would air Monday-Thursday at 11 p.m., Comedy Network announced Nov. 1 it has juggled their late-night comedy schedule: Now it’s Daily Show at 11 p.m. ET, Colbert Report at 11:30 p.m. ET and Conan at midnight ET.
