Talk-show tango Nov. 8-12: Conan, at last, and counting down to the return of Chelsea Lately

In television on 11/08/2010 at 7:47 am

It’s like it’s raining talk shows! This week marks the start of Conan O’Brien’s new show, Conan, at midnight on the Comedy Network (repeating at 1 a.m. on CTV). And in a couple of weeks, there’ll be a new face on late night. Or, rather, a newly returned face for Canada. The live wire Chelsea Handler’s Chelsea Lately will return Nov. 29 when CTV and Comcast revive the E! channel. Chelsea Lately was available in Canada until early 2009 when Canwest decided to shutter and/or sell the handful of E! stations. Now, CTV and Comcast are relaunching it in the Star! spot currently held on most cable and satellite lineups.
