Talk-show tango Feb. 7-11: Bieber, Jennifer Beals, Jennifer Aniston and The Dears

In television on 02/06/2011 at 4:13 pm

Justin Bieber is, again, all over this this week in advance of his new movie (Never Say Never) but that won’t win the week, not mine anyway. And I almost declared this the week of Jennifer: Jennifer  Beals for the excellent new cop show The Chicago Code, Mondays  at 9 p.m. ET on Global and Fox starting Feb. 7 and Jennifer Aniston for what could surprise but looks to be the most bizarre romantic-comedy pairing Just Go With It, co-starring Adam Sandler, set for a Feb. 11 debut in Montreal.

But in the end, the only possible decision was to hand this week to Montreal’s The Dears, who will perform on Late Show with David Letterman on Friday. Here’s a vid for Blood from their new album, Degeneration Street. (And you might also want to catch their weekly video podcast, by clicking here, every Monday at 7 p.m .ET.)
