I'm watching. You're watching. Let's talk.

Talk-show Tango Feb. 28 to March 4: Give a thought to not watching Charlie Sheen

In television on 02/28/2011 at 4:06 am

I would say this week goes to Oprah (Meredith Baxter talks about coming out), but in fact it goes to … Charlie Sheen. The poor devil gets his first network interview since exploding his career in a couple of radio interviews last week (immediate reaction: Two and a Half Men has been cancelled for the rest of the season, future unknown). According to this report by The Star, the interview itself will run Tuesday at 10 p.m. on ABC, although excerpts will air Monday and Tuesday on Good Morning America.

Now I’d like to say please don’t watch; the man is clearly in a very bad way and an audience is the last thing he needs. Also, there but for the grace of whatever… I’m going to try to resist and instead to give a thought to the people I know whose families have been affected by addiction.

On a happier note, it’s talk show time!
