I'm watching. You're watching. Let's talk.

Talk-show Tango May 16-20: From the frat boys of The Hangover Part II to Oprah and James Frey

In television on 05/16/2011 at 8:20 am

Talk about spectrum. On one hand we have the crew from The Hangover Part II (Conan is all Hangover, all the time this week). On the other we have Oprah (in the, ahem, second last week on her show, in case you are counting down) starting with a double dose of humble pie for James Frey, the author who got spanked five  years ago by Oprah for fabricating parts of his “memoir” A Million Little Pieces.

Also talk-show fans who don’t already know might be thrilled to find out that Chelsea Lately host Chelsea Handler is now a bona fide sitcom star. NBC picked up Are You There Vodka? It’s Me Chelsea for midseason (late fall early 2012), starring Laura Prepon in the Chelsea role and Handler playing her own sister.
