Talk-show Tango Sept. 12-16: Charlie Sheen? Anderson Cooper? Why don’t you both come on down

In television on 09/12/2011 at 7:41 am

Tiger blood and … real blood. Sounds like just another day chez Charlie Sheen, whose spectacular exit from Two and a Half Men earlier this year sparked a comedy tour as well as the inevitable Comedy Central Roast, which was taped in L.A. Saturday and will air in Canada on the Comedy Network on Monday, Sept. 19 at 10 p.m. ET, the same day that Two and a Half Men returns, with Ashton Kutcher picking up the empty third spot in the three-hander with Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones. Here’s the L.A. Times review of the show, which notes that along with tiger blood, the event also saw the need for a bit of first aid for Jackass star Steve-O when he … well why don’t you just click and find out. Want to watch the “Normalville” trailer for the roast? Click here.

Because that’s not nearly enough attention for the oddly quiet Sheen, he’s also on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday. That sounds about right.

And CNN’s Anderson Cooper? Well he’s gone all daytime, with a new talk show called Anderson, debuting today on NBC, CFCF and CJOH. Check below for guests and start times.
